Glove Compartment / Dash Rattle

This sh*t is about to drive me crazy. Certain sounds bother me and this one is really getting on my F*CKING nerves. The rattle or vibration sounds like it is coming from the glove compartment / dash area (passengers side). I have pulled everything in the storage area and lined it with weatherstripping all to no avail. I thought that would fix it but that was a complete waste of time and money. Figured maybe it could be an A/C component problem but the noise is present with the A/C on or off. Any ideas folks? Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sometimes the shock on the side of the glovebox breaks - or one of the 2 clips on the side. Check to see if they are all intact and then try to tighten the latch and the hinges.

Thanks wing8806. But I have already done as you suggested and it didn't help at all.

Re: Glove Compartment / Dash Rattle

The glovebox does normally have a slight rattle when closed - have you closed the glovebox and tried pressing on it to mimic the sound? adjusting the latch bracket on the dash would work if it happens to be that.

check the lower kick panel on the bottom right of the passenger side, that comes lose alot as well.

hmm... unless you have a loose speaker/tweeter i'm kinda out of ideas lol.
