Re: Power folding mirror help 5th g

I would first match the colored wires from the usdm to the jdm.

Find the ones that don't match and those would be wired to the relay?

I'm not 100% just my educated guess.

Re: Power folding mirror help 5th g

you need to either cut the usdm connector off of the wires, or transplant the wires to the jdm connector. this will allow you to use the jdm switch with the jdm relay and mirrors. then run additional wires to make the power folding work. there's a diy on here for it: EXT: 4th gen - DIY Retrofitting JDM Power Folding Mirrors.

Re: Power folding mirror help 5th g

whats the switch from? With both of my Preludes, the folding switch plugs right into the USDM harness just fine, you just have to add an extra wire. There's a write-up on Prelude power that I followed that worked perfect

Yea I've seen all of those write ups. But never paid attention to the switch until I got it Heres the link.

JDM HONDA PRELUDE BB6 BB5 1998 POWER FOLDING MIRROR OEM | eBay

It said it's for a bb6 bb5 but who knows. now I found the problem, that switch it's fom a ek9 /ek4 the one that i need is the dc2/bb6/bb8 which Is available on eBay. I think that's what I'm gonna do instead of cutting the oem/usdm harness.

Thanks u guys I got another question. Where can I find the front mask/bra for my car bb6 I can't find it anywhere

I saw a guy on PO selling one, but you'll most likely find them in the classified sections or ebay
