Idle problem

Sup guys need some help and yes I know theres an IDLE THREAD here but it didn`t fix my problem. :/ My car idles at 600ish when warm and about 1,000 @ cold start but when I turn on my A/C it goes up abit 100-200rpm higher but when I`m driving and I`m coming to a stop it goes all the way down to and then comes back up. It wanted to over heat once but never did it again. I changed my thermostat, new radiator, good coolant mix/amount, bleed the system and I bought a new radiator fan since the last owner put a universal one and it barely even covers the radiator just need the screwes and I`ll be installing it. I also cleaned my egr, aicv, pcv and I adjusted my Idle Control screw screwed it in all the way and then backed it out 1 1/2 ways out. I really want to get this fixed soon i`s hot as eff outside.

Thanks guys.

-Alex

Re: Idle problem

Yeah because of the heat and the load of the A/C. My temp is always abit below half when it wants to over heat it goes a quarter higher. 4 increments higher. It seemed like it wanted to go higher but I shut it down emediately.

Re: Idle problem

Did you have the IACV unhooked when you tried to adjust the idle screw?

Re: Idle problem

the one thing i didnt see you mention was the Fast Idle thermo valve fix, it is in the idle thread and is often overlooked because some will tell you, that you dont have it and others will say iacv. it's a quick 15 minute fix and wouldn't hurt to do it.
