Red push switch?

Hey guys I have a few questions for you. I have a aftermarket alarm system a few weeks ago I tired to set my alarm the horn was very faint and the lights did not go off. This have been like this for 2 weeks the door locks don't lock same times a have to check it all the time to make sure its locked. What I was wondering is this red push switch, do all Preludes have it? Or is this a part of the aftermarket alarm? Do you have any idea what would happen if I push it? I'm thinking I may have pushed it with my leg with out realizing it. Thank you in advance.

Re: Red push switch?

my car had one with some old alarm when I got the car and it did absolutely nothing, the alarm would just go into panic mode if it had power. so needless to say I just pulled the alarm and wiring.

Re: Red push switch?

I have a CompuStar Pro and have a toggle switch located under my steering wheel column and that's to disable my autostarter. Then I have another button thats located on my steering wheel housing thing between the actual wheel and gauge cluster and thats the valet button.

Re: Red push switch?

they all lied to you.

that red button disables the flux capacitor, that way if you go over 88 MPH you don't have to time travel if you don't want to

Re: Red push switch?

if you turn the key in the one possition then press the button it can either put it On or Off of valet mode. sometimes if your alarm was going off and you didnt have your remote, you can do the same and it should shut off the alarm. i used to work at a car audio shop and we did alarms. thats all i got, hope it helps

Everyone always jumps to the flux capacitor, when I saw the picture all I thought about was Men in Black 2.
