Most likely it sounds like another spent Prelude engine. Check your oil level.
h22a4 engine's that are in great shape like mine don't burn much oil unless you spend a lot of time above 5000 rpms. If you are having to add oil to your engine at an abnormal rate then you may have a engine that was worked hard during its life and is on its way to going RIP.Considering the fact that the engine puts a very high output of over 90hp/liter , its life can be easily cut short if one of the privious owners spent a lot of time raging on it .Unftunally the problems you experence with your car is in many ways dependent on the care that the privious owners took with your car. Because misery loves company, I thought I would add the folling link.

seriously man you get bashed every time you answer to a thread...i spend alot of time over 5k rpms and hit vtec several times daily. and my car is sitting over 184k miles and still running strong. also OP if you just got your oil changed dont forget that the flex pipe sits directly underneath the oil filter and its going to drip onto it...for base 5th gens atleast.

Where dol u get ur info from bro? I rape my car on a daily basis n mines in perfect shape. I keep up with the maintenance n it loves me for it. Everytime i see u post ur out there giving ppl long drawn out paragraphs filled with assumptions based on ur loose knowledge (at best) of cars. In lame mans terms...stop spreading BS to ppl who ask real questions. U do nothing but make life harder for the OP and urself by being so retarded

op like twok said, blue is burning oil, most likely from your rings. h22's are notorious for it. they also run rich from the factory so its gonaa happen. its annoying yes, but your engine is fine. dont listen to a WORD robert failyor aka SHdriver says, hes a troll. im really getting sick of him, but im not even going to go off on him. its pointless. the dude is a joke and we all know it. so surprised someone actually gave the guy positive rep for something.

Damn good job doing so D!

I keed I keed!! I don't really dislike the guy just don't agree with what he says 99.9% of the time. I honestly don't think be should be banned, he really should just take what I said and the fact that he is banned on every other prelude forum and realize he's lucky to be here and not do something that could cause him to get banned.

You see D, I'm tryin! Maybe it's the geezer in me. I know I personally can come off as a dick sometimes and I'm trying to change that. It's been a rough past few months for me and I think it's been showing in some of my posts, I'm sorry if I have taken my aggression out on any of you!

Anyhoo, enough with the sappy sh*t.
