Signals not shutting themselves off?

Just as the title says. my turn signals don't shut themselves off. Occasionally they will. What gives?

Re: Signals not shutting themselves off?

In most vehicles, there's what is called a cancelling cam.....which turns the blinkers off. I'm not sure in the Prelude if it's part of the turn signal switch itself or a separate mechanism. Either way, I'm pretty sure this is your problem

Re: Signals not shutting themselves off?

I have an extra combination switch (i believe is what they call it on the honda site) i could sell ya! I bought a new one when my turn signals died, turns out it wasn't the switch but a loose wire under the dash somewhere..

Anyways it worked perfectly when I took it off and my signals always turned themselves back off.
