recommendations for replacement stainless header

so my flex pipe has burnt through, i was gonna replace it with a stainless header. im not out to spend 500 on performance parts and just want to economically replace it with ss. just on ebay quick theres headers for 50 bucks and megan racing has one for 150 with the 2.5 collector. was thinking of going that way. the absolute last thing i want to do though is get a header that will actually reduce performance. any thoughts throw em out there. thanks

Re: recommendations for replacement stainless header

If you just want replacement I'd go with some cheap like DC header. Hytech is "proven" to give you + on performance but I really don't see it...

Re: recommendations for replacement stainless header

thanks guys. ive seen the dc header and it seems cheap. i am only looking for a stock replacement in ss. i will look into the replica though. i am planning on installing a 3 inch catback at some point but only when i need it. anyone have experience with the cheapy fleabay headers. just sounds too cheap. thanks again.

Yes but you also need to include more performance mods to notice it enough. Otherwise you won't.
