Anyone rockin MSD injectors?

Ive come across a set of 50lb MSD injectors for a steal. Are they any good and will they fit my sock fuel rail? Im only going with low 8psi boost just to be clear here.

youre fine with stock injectors, also its no psi that determines what size injectors you need its how much power you make.

Re: Anyone rockin MSD injectors?

First learn stokeometric rule. Then you will understand that more air requires more fuel.

Your stock injectors should be fine for 8psi with moderate air flow at high rmp. 10-12psi would be my guess for changing them out.

Re: Anyone rockin MSD injectors?

i wasn't even aware that MSD made injectors for imports
and the fact that honda's measure the size of their injectors in CC's and domestics do it in lb's, makes me really wonder how your going to pull this off

both of you are def smoking the crack pipe. you just said it yourself "more AIR = more FUEL"
8psi (more air) with a STOCK fuel system?!?! are you nuts??? that's just askingggg for crazy lean AFR's, i doubt that car would even last after it's first pull.

lmao @ stokemetric.
you mean stoichiometric??? where a good stoich idle is 14.7?

this entire thread is one giant facepalm.

Re: Anyone rockin MSD injectors?

^haha wtf?. And yea MSD made injectors for the lude but idk if they do anymore. The one i was lookin at were used but I would have had to bore out the stock fuel rail to get the butt end to fit. And yea i do know about the stoichiometric rule and how to calculate (gotta love chemistry) I just wanted some input because the opportunity seemed to arise and i see people on this forum who are boosting about the same and have upgraded injectors. I see now that its prob because they figure that once you get "1000cc injectors" you never need to upgrade again. I would never need anything that insane im not trying to build a jet airplane. But yea guys thanks for the input. You saved me time and money that i dont have. haha

Re: Anyone rockin MSD injectors?

well balls i guess, everyones wrong sometimes. ive just heard around that stock injectors are usually good for at least like 300whp, which the op'd definitely be under with a decent 8psi setup
