DEEP ****

hey guys i bought a prelude a few weeks ago, today i was driving, and my belt fell off on my jdm h22, and it started making this rattle noise, it was the crank pulley rattling because it was loose, so then i took it to my mechanic right away he was about 1/2 km away when it happened, it still had good power when i was driving, im just wondering if any of the internals were damaged, even though the engine sounded good. thanks guys much appreciated

Re: DEEP ****

no internals should be affected but on the crankshaft being loose is a coming problem on these cars i would recommend u buying a new on and getting it gunned on. Because if the crank pulley has been loose for awhile its probably chipped the little groove for the pin to sit in.

Re: DEEP ****

aslong as you make sure the bolt hasnt broken in, then your straight, you can go to a junkyard and get one off an h22a4 or so,
ive replaced mine countless times, and this happened to me last week lol.
