concerned

so i was doing a oil change i a found what appears to look like cracks but im not sure so i was hoping you guys might know whats wrong i saw a few on the oil pan and the transmission here are some pics thanks for the info.

It's normal, you're fine.

all oil pans have those from the mold they used when making it. Unless it's deep cracks/or you're leaking oil, you're fine.


i'm not too sure about the transmission though. i'm assuming that your last pic is from that - so maybe someone else can chime in

My oil pan has some surface mold cracks no leaks. New manual trans had some surface cracks as well, but I painted and baked it so I don't see them anymore lol
