Icon8 Fuel smell

Hello,

I have a very bad fuel smell in my cab only in the summer heat.
i looked all over the engine compartment and can not find any fuel leaks.
please help if you can.

Check your injectors, fuel filter, and fuel lines. More than likely it's at your fuel line with one of the injectors.

Could be an exhaust leak, check the pipping under your car, do you have a cat. conv.?

^ he wouldn't be smelling fuel from an exhaust leak - he'd be smelling exhaust fumes.

i had a fuel leak as well, mine was going from the fuel rail to the fuel filter, taped it up with electrical tape...no fuel smell anymore haha

its most likely the orings around the fuel injectors and the fuel rail. id recomend replacing all of the external injector orings, and go from there. the orings arent too expensive, and its a relatively easy, straightforward job.
