Headlights flicker under the slightest bump.

I've recently corrected the bumper sag on my 5th gen, and afterwards, I noticed the HIDs keep flickering under the smallest or even slightest of bumps. I double-checked the connections and everything was a-okay! Then I opened the hood to figure out my headlights were kind of loose, like I could move them with my hand. :O And there are two little notches broken where the grill is suppose to attach to the headlights. Is there a way of fixing the headlights by somehow re-attaching them to the body of the car, or is there another way? I will post up photos of the damaged notches as soon as possible.

Re: Headlights flicker under the slightest bump.

If the brackets are broken, you're need to take the light out and fix the bracket by either plastic welding or using a plastic expoxy. JB weld usually doesn't hold up too good for a long period of time. Where in TX are you located? If you're in the DFW area, I could help you out since I'm always messing with headlights (I build retrofits)

I figured it was that! Well I live in Garland but I do head down to Downtown Dallas occasionally to go to ilume, so I would be happy if you could help. But not today, I have graduation stuff to do.

I'm in Arlington, so you're actually about 35-45min from me depending on traffic and how you drive. Are you going to CCM#10(cup cake meet) on the 25th? It's out there in Garland, and there's going to be A LOT of cars. You should go and check it out. I'm hoping to have my RHD Prelude up and running by then

Re: Headlights flicker under the slightest bump.

I also had this problem. My head lights would flicker, my speedo would drop to zero then back to speed and my dash would flicker and my radio would shut of them on. It turned out to be the power wire to the fuse box under the hood. The screw backed out so the connection kept getting interrupted, over bumps. they appeared to be to be in tight but they weren't. If the previous suggestion dosn't work
