Personally I'd like the guards on.
If you take them off can I buy from you?

Re: should i keep my mud guards check it out!

imo i think it looks more aggresive, imagine wider tires all around, dropped about 1.5 inches with 225/45/17 with some nice tough wheels sort of like some subarus.....i think this would be a totally different look from all of the lip kits and ludes that we see here....thats just my opinion

Re: should i keep my mud guards check it out!

It looks like the Mugen front bumper with some ARC lip winglets. Theres a gap between the flare your talking about and the bumper.

Honda Prelude Forum : Honda Prelude Forums - POTM - ludeboi121's Bio

There's a link to the exact car. Damn I'm good. Lol

it prevents rocks and other small things from flinging up and scratching the side of your car...

So keep them on if you want to keep it fresh!!!

Ya , that's a beautiful Lude, I'm going to install an oem front lip and add some wind splitters just like that Lude, I think with the mud guards, the black skirts the oem lip with the wind splitters, plus dropped 1.5" and then I'm going to put some 225/45/17 oh and a bike rack wil make my car look beefy

black skirts : Yes because the black on white contrast looks great.
mud flaps: No because todays cars have these low profile mini mud flaps. The mud flaps on the Prelude are very elongated and make the car look dated.I took mine off and through them into the attic with the hope that one day they may come back into style.

1981 : Large mud flaps were in.
2011: Large mud flaps gives your car a dated appearance.

Re: should i keep my mud guards check it out!

the mud guards on the lude r just a little long but i could always make them shorter, another thing, the mud guards on that 1981 car are way different from the ones i have. mine are thicker, those are flimsy

Keep the mud guards I think they look sweet on the prelude. I wish I still had some on mine when I bought it..
