Civic Si exhaust

Hey guys I have an 01 base 5spd prelude and I was wondering what modifications/obvious problems I would run into while installing an 07 civic SI coupe exhaust on and the best/easiest route to take when installing. I searched for this couldn't find much. Thanks in advanced guys.

Re: Civic Si exhaust

the only part of it you can use is the muffler. custom piping and hangers will need to be used

Re: Civic Si exhaust

If the only reason you're changing the muffler is for the note, you'd be better off with a 5ziegen or apexi muffler straight, gets a better note. If the Muffler is good, save up for a cat-back kit. That's baller.

Re: Civic Si exhaust

it obviously isn't gonna bolt directly on, if that's what your thinking.

its gonna require welding up some custom hangers and at least like 2 feet of custom piping.

Re: Civic Si exhaust

I know this has been posted a year ago but just a heads up for i am looking to do an inexpensive mods, low modification with the 2012. However i was just curious if I can find a Civic Si exhaust and other Honda Civic parts in a junk yeard coz im not trusting the quality of aftermarket parts.

Re: Civic Si exhaust

Go to a exhaust shop and they'll weld up all new pipping and tell them to put the civic exhaust on. They'll make it work if you really want it done.

Re: Civic Si exhaust

If your going to spend money on custom piping, hangers, etc just get a Vibrant universal muffler or a Universal muffler like apexi or something and spend that money to something useful that will sound good and increase performance.

Civic=fail.
