Help a noob out !

Ok so my engine dripped all the oil out due to a problem and I got it fixed the mechanic put some oil in already. Can I just fill the rest or do I need to do a complete oil change? I did one less then a month ago I'm just out of oil because of the problem so can I just pour more in or what ?

yeah man. you shouldn't have to change the filter. refill and change at 3000 miles from the time you initially changed it
