I have no idea what part this is or where to get one

So, I was parked in a free public carpark for uni (mistake) and someone was nice enough to run into the back of my lude and not leave a note so I can't insurance claim.

The only major damage is to this pannel that holds the licence plate in.

Click for large view

But my question is. Does anyone know what part number this is or even where to buy one?

It doesn't need to be colour matched as I'm going to be getting a lip kit and getting that sprayed so colour isn't an option.

Thanks for any help.

Ps. Does anyone know who or where I could get a new "VTi-R" sticker?

Didn't break the bumper at all huh? Lucky. Same thing hapened to me but with more damage.

Majestic Honda is the only way to go for oem parts. Google it.

Edit* Sry for the pointless post. Was on iphone. After looking at the parts I would say its 71502-S30-A00. I'll look a little more to be sure.

The problem is, I have no idea what that part is, and I can't verify it because no where has pictures. I'm assuming its "License panel" but just hoping I can get some clarification, even a part number so I can be 2x as sure.

After zooming in on the parts diagram, it looks like the broken area is part of the bumper.

Just went and checked my car. No ring there - its all one piece. What year is yours?

We are not lucky enough to get that part in the US. Your best bet is to go to your local Honda shop and ask them. They should have no problem getting it for you.

I'll drop by after Uni today, see what they can do, or if they can just give me part number and I source it.

But if anyone else knows, feel free to let me know :P

Ask member Ajk82 he's from London and they have the same style back end that run the larger plates. If your local shop can't help you he might be able to help you get one.

And replied.

And for the record, Honda Aust has successfully blocked Majestic from local IP addresses. I guess they got a little irritated that somebody was cutting into their ludicrously high margins.

Re: I have no idea what part this is or where to get one

So, I called up the guys at HondWreck and they had the part and in the colour (basically) that I needed.

Cost me $80. I also called Honda and they would charge me $280.

Me and a mate installed it when we got home and he managed to lose the screws for the rear bumper so we had to drive (with no rear bumper) all the way to the store to buy new screws and washers.

I still have no idea what the part is officially called, or what the part number is, but I'm happy.

Thanks brash for the reply.

Re: I have no idea what part this is or where to get one

When I ordered one after I was rear ended by a JDM 4th gen in 2008 we called it "number plate surround."

But then again I like to refer to a shovel as a shovel, not a handheld earthmoving device constructed from plain carbon steel and timber.
