dont get a fiberglass lip kit, its just going to crack and shatter. just save up for the legit kit or any other lips made out of ABS

Ebay's great, but you reaally got to be discerning when browsing around on there. First of all, if a deal is too good to be true, check the shipping. thats usually where it is if it looks too cheap. Second, Don't buy from guys with low seller ratings, because those are the guys who most often send bad products, faulty products, have bad customer service, etc(like the guys I bought my headlights from. And as for the product at hand, that does seem a bit steep. I personally know nothing about the company, so I would do a little research on them before even looking at them again. Anyways, best of luck.

Re: advice on this lip kit please!

The more expensive lip kits are actually made out of fiberglass. Take Ings+1 for example.

Re: advice on this lip kit please!

if your going to purchase an aftermarket FRP replica of the oem kit, ask them if it comes with hardware. if not, chances are the kit is going to need custom fabrication to fit and install (dremmeling, brackets, screws, etc.) and theyre ^^ right fiberglass should be a last resort, if even that. I just know from experience :x dont ask for details lol

ive looked around for this kit as long as ive had my prelude and your choices are pretty much the FRP replicas, H and A OEMs, or just settle for a front lip for now cause there are prolyurethane ones out there.

Re: advice on this lip kit please!

If you want fiberglass, you'd have to buy the lip kit from a company thats reputable. The only reason why people use polyurethane is because it's more flexible but the truth is it can also warp in heat (I've experienced this) and is heavier. Brands that make good fiberglass like Ings+1, L-Tuned, or Greddy back their kits up with warranty and their fiberglass is more durable then the cheap brands that ricers buy. It's also easier to paint and mould.

Now judging by the fact that your looking for OEM, you are better off just buying the OEM urathane lip kit instead as I'm assuming the company making this replica probably does a crappy job at moulding them. I wouldnt pay that much for replca's.
