Weird noise on start-up

Every time I start the car, once I give it gas, I get this buzzing sound for a few seconds, then it stops. I'm going to take it to my buddy who's a Honda tech next week, but I was hoping someone might have an idea about what it might be. It sounds like it's coming from the engine bay, but its obviously being muffles on the way in, so don't take that as gospel truth.

My first guess was a pump, hoping its not the water pump =/. Ideas?

do you kinda feel a slight vibration? and it's right when you start moving? if so it's normal it's your ABS doing a self test.

Its a five speed. No offense to anyone, but I would never buy a "sporty" vehicle that's an auto lol

Hmm, I don't remember a slight vibration. I'm heading to the gym soon, I'll report back.

Re: Weird noise on start-up

Hey, I was wondering about this same exact thing in mine! Well, now that you mention it, it makes perfect sense. One question I do have is: If my car was lowered (Before I purchased it) I understand it can "confuse" ATTS..... My ATTS light is constantly on unless I disconnect the battery. Would this make any difference at all?
