Velox Wheels Anyone Running Them?

Anyone on this forum running Velox VX 6R 17x7 wheels on their Lude? I found these wheels on Costco and they seem like a decently priced well built light weight wheels through Costco. I am primarily interested in the weight of these wheels in everyday driving/usage. I was also looking at the Enkei RPF1 17x7 as they are also lightweight wheels for summer use only but these are alot more money. So if you got a set of Velox wheels give me your thoughts....please.

lol costco.

A friend of mine had a set in 18x8 on his SBC powered RX7 and never ran into any issues.

Re: Velox Wheels Anyone Running Them?

RPF1s look way better IMO

Have you looked at the Kosei K1 TS, they are lighter than the RPF1s in the 17x7, only 14.1lbs!!!! Also they are about $50 cheaper. Manufactured in Japan, not China.
My auto-x friends use these and love them.

Re: Velox Wheels Anyone Running Them?

Thanks guys for your input.....I looked at all those wheels mentioned (Eneki RPF1 and Kosei K1 TS) both are awesome wheels but don't have the money to shell out that kinda cash......that why I am leaning towards the Velox VX 6r as these are also 14.? pounds a piece in the 17x7, and comes with a Costco warranty.....I will post the wheels and my preceptions on these wheels once I have them....

Re: Velox Wheels Anyone Running Them?

So I ordered my 17x7 Velox VX6r wheels on Costco for $525 shipped (them have a special going on right now $150 off for a set of 4 wheels) got these wheels mounted on a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE760 215 45 17. Posted some pics of the wheels and the lude. My hope is of course that these wheels will stand up for summer use only for years to come. Anyways, enjoy......

Re: Velox Wheels Anyone Running Them?

You need a drop. The polished lip is making your 17" look like 16". Just my opinion.

Agreed, I would have gone with Buddy clubs, black or gunmetal, chrome on a silver lude is just, idk, not appealing to me.
