New bumper, REALLY NEED HELP

I have a 2000 honda prelude and just spent $300 including shipping on the extreme dimensions type m front bumper. I went to go put it on my car and it doesnt fit correctly around the bottom of the headlights and no way in hell that the signal light will fit in the space they provided....now im having doubts that anyone will be able to shave it off and make everything fit, especially the signla lights and that black piece under them. Would it be a good idea to order some new signal lights to fit in the slots? but which ones hahah. ill post a picture of my bumper i ordered. i am praying someone has purchased the same one and has it installed :) this is the link for the bumper Extreme Dimensions Type-M Body Kit - Front Bumper for 97-02 Honda Prelude at Andy's Auto Sport if you want to view different angles.

Re: New bumper, REALLY NEED HELP

Where did u get it? Is it urethane? Most likely it was a low end deal. I made that mistake once.... Ended up paying another grand to have it cut and fitted. Just an idea

About 90% of aftermarket numbers aren't going to fit correctly. You're always going to have to do some type of adjustments with them

x2

Usually the modifications are in making the the blinkers and fog lights fit, not the top by the headlights. Sounds like it may have been molded wrong.

Pics would really help to see if it's off a reasonable amount or not.

Re: New bumper, REALLY NEED HELP

Hey thats strange I have ordered and installed two of those exact bumpers from Extreme Dimensions....No problems what so ever. But I have also ordered one from another site that had no chance in fitting what so ever. Call them and talk to them I had a small chip in one sent to me and they let me keep it and just sent me a brand new one.
