Re: New Clutch

Exedy makes Honda OEM clutches, they have a reputation for quality. I have a stage 1 Exedy clutch with over 100k on it. The only other brand I might consider is ACT, but IMO Exedy makes a better bang for buck oem and stage 1 if you're going that route.

While you're down there you could throw in a lightweight flywheel. Fidanza, ACT, Clutchmasters all make good quality flywheels.

Re: New Clutch

I went with with the stage 1 Exedy clutch, got it put in about 2 months ago now. No complaints and love my Fidanza light weight flywheel.

Re: New Clutch

I jus bought myself the Exeddy clutch disc and pressure plate with the 8lb Fidanza Flywheel!!!

I bought the OEM fit one, not the Stage 1 jus to clarify.

Re: New Clutch

All this talk to flywheels and JUN is never brought up? I'm kind of shocked.

Re: New Clutch

exedy clutches are very good man. not really made for racing though if you do a lot of that.. if your trying to spend good money on a Quality clutch go to Spec Clutch! Crazy a** clutchs

Spec is garbage, get that sh*t out of here. Between just a couple of my friends, I've seen three of them fail miserably.

Re: New Clutch

my car recently started making a lot of noise every time I released the clutch. I was told that its the release bearing and that its better to replace the whole clutch rather than the bearing alone. So I'm also looking for a new clutch.

I do a lot of just driving around and commuting, I don't race on the tracks or anywhere that I can get my ass handled to me, except for the occasional "if I we meet at the light I rev you rev lets go" but thats about it.

I've been looking at the different clutches and stages. It looks like an exedy stage 1 clutch suites me best. Please give me your suggestion and opinions on what I should get.

Thanks
