Side Mirrors

Hey guys, so I had to replace the glass piece of my driver side side-mirror. I just pooped it in, but now the power mirror doesn't work. I can see that it's because that there are two ball-in-socket type joints aren't connected, but I can't seem to connect them. Any tips for this?

I hope I'm not being too ambiguous about this. Let me know if I need to clear anything up.

I've never seen someone poop something IN.

lol.

Anyway, it should just snap in there. If it isn't, try running the mirror all the way one direction and then try it again.

Re: Side Mirrors

LOL popped*

Yea I tried adjusting the two "arms" all the way out, but when I put the mirror up to it and try to pop it in, the two arms just retract away from the socket. It almost seems like the balls don't fit into the sockets, but the mirror fits perfectly.
I'm gonna try and go to Honda and see if they can tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks for the reply!

Re: Side Mirrors

the mirror just pops into place. Just put a little more pressure onto each ball joint thing and it'll snap into place.

Re: Side Mirrors

whenever i put pressure onto the two white ball joint things they recess back in. it seems like i need to hold those two white arms there with some needle nose plyers or something while i try to pop the balls into the sockets on the back of the mirror.
i'm putting her into honda this friday to get the window tint done, hopefully honda will be able to help me out on this?
think they will charge me anything to take a quick look at it?
