Icon9 Questions before applying

I'm going to be buying a sheet of Lamin-X yellow light protectant to cut (since they dont have precuts...) and put on my fogs as a cheap alternative to installing yellow lights.

I was looking at my fogs and noticed one has a nice crack from a rock but its unoticable unless you get up nice and close. I know I have to take the lights out and clean and polish them before applying the film but should I even apply the film over my light or would that be a bad idea since it has a crack?? If I can't apply because of the crack where can I buy the USDM OEM circular fog lights...?? All I find are the more "rectangular" ones like this http://www.k2motor.com/honda-prelude...FQ10gwodqnlEIA

Link to film if it matters
One 6" x 12" Universal Fog, Headlight Cover or Tail Light Cover

Also any tips to cutting a flat sheet the right size to fit a rounded face would be appreciated

Re: Questions before applying

A good place to find fogs are ebay.. I dont really know to many sites like that.. you can try Andysautosport.com or horsepowerfreaks.com

but i dont think it would do anything bad if you spray with the crack on it.. but i would change it cause in the long run water can get in there and rust it out and cause the bulb to go out, like it did to my fog lights lol

Re: Questions before applying

I like these as an alternative.
Spyder Fog Lights, Spyder Amber & Yellow Fog Light Kits, Spyder Fog Light - Videos, Installations & Reviews

I've searched ebay. All i get are the JDM OEM look instead of the USDM OEM look. I like both but kinda prefer the smaller circular lights.

And I wont be spraying the light, I'll be applying a yellow vinyl.

not bad, but I'm not a fan of aftermarket quality.... especially exterior items
