Icon8 Help! I have no cat. Converter!

So there I was, pulling my stock sh motor out of my car. My brother says "hey, get under there and unbolt your greedy evo2 exhaust so we can get this motor out". So I get under the car and low and behold, there is a giant section of my exhaust missing! Someone cut my cat converter out with some of my exhaust. Now I have a question. Seems like the perfect time to use a test pipe. Should I get a universal one (cause I don't have flanges anymore) and do the 02 simulator with the spark plug non fouler? It still needs to pass Maryland emissions testing. Any help would be appreciated guys. Also, do I need one or both 02 sensors to he done this way?

Re: Help! I have no cat. Converter!

i'm not sure if a test pipe would be able to pass emissions. but yes you can simply bring a test pipe/cat/straight pipe to a muffler shop and they'll weld it straight on with no flanges.

Re: Help! I have no cat. Converter!

I have a question. Someone stole part of your exhaust system and you didnt notice the noise? That will have been really loud. There are stories of people who's CAT's have been stolen, they are after the precious metals inside of it.

I had the car parked for a while so I could save money for a jdm h22. I didn't drive it for about a month.

Re: Help! I have no cat. Converter!

you will need the primary o2 sensor regardless of whether or not you have a test pipe. you dont really need the second one. it will throw a code without the spacer mod tho

Happened while I worked at a Honda dealer. They simply unbolted cats off new Ridgelines and Pilots

I fail to see how any of you could think that stealing anything is awesome. Thats costing somebody money.
