Shifter cable routing

I am trying to get my shifter cables hooked up after my 5 speed swap and am having an issue with one of the cables going into the bracket on the trans. I can not get it to seat quite right into the bracket ( the angle that the cable sits at is way to sharp I think) I have tried searching everywhere but cannot find any pics of how the cables are routed to the trans. I ran them over the subframe and the length seems to be right but am confused as to why one of the cables fits perfect and the other is giving me fits It's almost like I need like 1 extra inch (I know thats what she said ) anyways...are there pics somewhere of this or can someone with a 5 speed snap some pics for me and show me what I am missing?

Oh ya ... my Lude is a 98
