Need Alittle Help finding out this problem

Okay i have a 99 Prelude,I'm going to try to explain this best as possible, Problem is it's not idling just right if i sit at a red light or whatever for to long it'll bounce around 1k an under rpms and sometimes just shut off. Ive heard that i should just check my vacuums. Any ideas?

Yeh i have the same problem. My friend said it could be the idle air control valve and or the fast idle thermo

Do you have a engine swap to? but yeah its pretty frustrating. i'm about to go get it hooked up at my buddys shop and find out what it is. just trying to get some ideas i can mess with before i drive out to it

Sounds like a vacuum leak of some sort. Do you have a cold air intake on your car by any chance? when I first put mine on it did that for a while but eventually went away. Second time it happened to me was because of a vacuum leak(which was easy to fix in my case).
