URGENT help: SH Owners who's worked on suspension

Posted this on PP too but some of you might not have that and may know so...Here goes.

I cannot for my life that this bolt out from the damper fork because the radius Rod is in the way. is there any tricks to bypass this?

You are going to have to take the control arm ball joint off for that bolt to come out. Once I got mines out I put it in the opposite way so I won't go threw that again... Get you a ball joint seperater from autozone to remove the ball joint and you should be good...

Re: URGENT help: SH Owners who's worked on suspension

why do you need to undo it? if all you are doing is springs or shocks its not necessary to remove it. just remove the bolt that holds the strut to the fork and separate them there. looks like you got screwed by a previous mechanic.

The rubber mount that sticks out on top of the strut is too high. I can't slide the strut out or else i would've done it already. thanks for the help though. i just grinded the stupid @$$ bolt off.

that would be the trick. i know ive had my struts out with the fork on but i did have a lot of weasling and prying to do it though. either way, good stuff.

Sh's have different radious arms than base models remove the ball joint and it should move out of the way

Dude all SH preludes come from the factory with that bolt facing that direction why I have no idea but once you separate the lower control arm ball joint it will come out just remember to put it back in the opposite way next time... Trust me all SH preludes from the factory comes like this...
