window molding/trim

on my 99 lude the window moldings(black pieces around the windows) are wrecked..the color has come off and looks slightly rusty/very worn...i feel that it takes a dramatic effect on my lude and would really like to fix this..so far ive only heard to replace them but i wouldnt even know where to begin...any ideas?

you can pick up a pair from your local honda dealer. or go to hondaautomotiveparts.com or slhonda.com and buy a slightly cheaper pair. or contact honda4life.. he can get you a good discount on them.

OR. just remove them.. paint them black... or even paint them the color of your car... to get them off though, you need to remove the side mirrors and the inside door panel. and they slide right out.

thanks

great post, I have a similar problem with my 96 lude and the lower molding on the rear window (MOLDING ASSY., RR). I found the part at the sites you specified and am going to order it. But how can I remove the old one and install it? thanks in advance!
