Turn Signals Don't Work! :(

Hey all, I've been doing the gauge cluster LED conversion today when I think I broke something... When I wen't to test out the gauges by turning on the headlights a small amount of solder smoke came from the back of the dash. At first, I just thought it was dirt or something, so I didn't think much of it. However, only half of the dash lit up, and when I went to turn the LEDs around the other half still did not light up. Now, my turn signals don't work. I flip the lever, and they dont click, light up, or blink. Nothing. I've tried replacing the LEDs back with the regular bulbs and nothing helps.

Anybody have any ideas? I'm lost on this one. Do you think it could be a fuse or something? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Is this the connection? It looks broken to me, but I thought I'd check. I'm sorry, I'm really not a great car guy, I'm learning though...

THanks again

yep thats it. carefull when you put it back together not to melt the plastic. you can try some copper tape... the voltage will be low enough.

Awesome! Thank you! I'm getting better at this stuff, but so far it looks like I'm gonna break everything at least once before I get there...

also, if you are using a soldering iron, try melting the solder on the tip and letting it drop onto the break.

this is definitely what i would have suggested if you did use solder.
