hey was just wondering if anyone had some ideas that could look good on my prelude, dont want to make it look overdone, but just enough to make it stand out.
thanks for all your help

also i am getting my car repainted cos all the paint has peeled off, was thinking of changing the colour, it is red now but i was thinking i could change it to something. has anyone seen any good looking preludes in a colour other than stock

i would probably go with a full oem lip kit. They look pree sick if i do say so myself. and maybe go with some rsx type s rims!! and for the colour, not sure man. Theres a guy on here with a tight green 5th gen. Not sure if green was a stock colour though?

what gen is it? I saw a 5th gen a couple weeks ago that was painted orange, not like fast and the furious but more of a darker orange. looked real good

Re: any good d.i.y. ideas for visual mods.

leds are easy and cheap diy.

i just got my car about a month ago and besides fixing an oil leak, I did all these things too:

- new depo projector lights
- hids
- clear side markers (with leds) to replace orange
- led licence plate lights
- clear turn signal housing (got for free brand new :)) with leds

Got a bit more planned but for all the above cost me less than $300 total (only because housings + headlights was around $260)

as for color, i agree with 94s1.. the orange color would be sweet

There's no such thing as too much pine tree air freshener.

If that sumbitch doesn't smell like a forest from 10 feet away, add more pine tree air freshener.

Re: any good d.i.y. ideas for visual mods.

It's all about the JDM squash air freshener. If your asian, you have one ^_^

I wouldn't change up the color. Would be easier repainting the car with it's original color.

Definitely OEM lip kit, then slammed, with RSX-S rims with spacers and stretched tires.
Form > Function. Hehehe

Re: any good d.i.y. ideas for visual mods.

OP, add a tow hook, and suspend a cowbell from it.

just kidding. Don't do that. I'm a southern boy, but I'm no hick lol. Although I would get a kick out of seeing somebody do that.

lol I'd rep a cowbell just because man.. Maybe the girls will dig it.

It's not DIY or anything but lowering a car on some new shocks and struts makes a car "pop out" more. That is if your not driving next to a van or truck.
