Icon8 Im Sooo Confused!!!

Ok so I did a compression test and the pistons held the compression the numbers were good, so no bad rings, check the iac, clean as a whistle, Still dont know why my car hesitates when i drive normal and doesnt when i get on it and still also wondering where the hell im losin a qaurt of oil a month from!!!

H22s use oil. There's nothing else to it. As soon as the high cam changes, you start to use oil. Don't VTEC as much and you won't use as much oil.

As for the hesitation, my guess would be ignition. Are there any other members here from NJ who could have a look?

yea but i have to be leakin oil internaly or somethin my friends say that everytime i hit around 4 or 5 grand + they see some smoke commin out of the exhaust and told me it was oil. but u said ignition can cause hesitation? didnt preludes have a recall that the dealership can fix for free?

Smoke coming out of the exhaust could mean your exhaust seals need to be replaced, ask what color is puffing out...if it's blue, you're in trouble.

Yes, ignition can cause hesitation.
Re-check your spark plugs, wires, cap & rotor for crust buildup.
Re-check your grounds...
Add more coolant if you've checked your IACV, check for coolant levels as well and top off.
