A/C ?

Hopefully the searching i done was sufficient enough not to make a repeat thread but i have done some searching on a/c deletes and i cant find what size belt to use to bypass the compressor. Elude gave me a 5pk0955 belt to do the delete. i noticed the stock belt was a 6pk. Would that affect anything by using a belt with one less rib? and would that size be the size i need to do the delete? thanks.

I had to get a 5 rib belt for mine, haven't tested it out yet because I havent gotten my motor back, but i know there is a alternator relacation that puts it where the AC use to be and you have to use a 3 rib belt with it and it works fine as for the size, you would have found it if you tired searching, its a 37 inch some people say that is a little tight though and they would rather use a 37 1/2 or 38 inch belt.

Thats what i was going to do i was just tryin to see if someone had done an a/c delete and could tell me the belt that they used. i was told to use speaker wire instead of string. Whichever gets the job done lol. Next on the list is to loop the p/s lines

Thanks for the help guys, I just wanted to get everything ahead of time so I can just get it knocked out without having to run back and forth to a parts store.
