Re: Drop 2''

It can cost anywhere from $25 to $2000 just depends on what setup you want.

Could cost you nothing if you have a good cutting disk.

Re: Drop 2''

Don't ever cut your springs... use sand bags.

If you can install it yourself then you'll save on the labor. It's usually around $50 a side or $150 for all four corners to have springs/shocked installed. Coilovers might be cheaper since you don't require a spring compressor.

Springs range in price depending on the brand. Your looking at around $150+ for new ones (drop depends on brand and model) or you could get some used for about half the price. You'll also need new shocks since the 2" drop will most likely blow your OEM. Tokico blues are OEM replacement so it'll do but it's not ment for vigorous drops. KYB's have shocks ment for lowering from what I remember but they range around $500 new.

Coilovers are adjustable so if you have a sub in the back you can bump it up a bit more in the rear. Coils range from about $500+ depending on if it includes shocks or not. You could go with cheap Skunk2's with only height adjustable which are about $300 or you could do full Tein SS with EDFC which you can adjust your dampening in your car but that'll run you like $3000 installed.

neuspeed race/sport springs. U can use with stock struts. 1.5fF/1.75R Sports (150) 2F/2.25R Race (200). Prices are ballpark within 20. Call it day n do it right.

Re: Drop 2''

Can you run Neuspeeds with stock shocks? I've been looking to get Neuspeeds as I can grab them for cheap but I don't want my shocks to blow out on me.

Wont the stock shocks rebound too far if you were to hit. Bump possibly unseating the spring? Not certain of this, just bring up a topic for conversation.
