Wow HELP

So heres the story

My passenger door stopped opening and unlocking on its own, had to cut the door panel off, get a new locking/latch mechanism with all the linkages. Replace that, door is fixed.

In my old passenger door i had an alpine door speaker that worked, a tweeter that didn't work, and a crossover. The tweeter and crossover were Eclipse brand. I have an alpine headunit. Because my tweeter didn't work, I cut it out. The crossover was also cut out. I rewired the alpine speaker into the door using wire nuts to connect the spliced wires together. Tested it before I had to put my door panel back together, it worked. Went to go get gas, now I have no sound coming out of ANY of my speakers but the headunit is playing the songs, I know its playing the songs because if its set on CD mode the track time starts to move, like its playing the song.

I still have a tweeter in my drivers door, with an alpine speaker, and probably a crossover again. The tweeter does not work on my driver side door either.

So why don't I have sound coming out of any of my speakers? Ohm imbalance? : ( help please

Re: Wow HELP

where to start? we made sure all wires were secure, and we only messed with the passenger side door, if it was a wiring issue it should only deal with that speaker, not all of them, i should still have rears playing

Atleast thats what I thought?

Re: Wow HELP

Ill bet a dollar to a doughnut hole you lost a wire nut. They are not at all intended for automotive use.

Re: Wow HELP

If a speaker wire from the deck is touching anything in the door it will more than likely put the deck into protect mode and shut off all the outputs.
