DOOR SPEAKERS

How do i install my 6.5 infinity reference speakers when the screw pattern for stock speakers is only 3 bolts and every speaker in the world is 4... need help please.

Just bought my 2000 SH prelude 4 days ago and need any tips or pointers or DIY i can do to mod it out

Spectre CIA with Spectre filter
Black leather with red stiching shift knob
35% and 20% tint all around

^^ just had done the day after i bought it

You have two options. The first one dr2day already stated.

The second option is to get a piece of wood and cut it into a ring shape, about the outer diameter of your speaker and 1" inward towards center. Screw that into the stock speaker holes and then get shorter screws to attach your speakers. The only downsides to this are your speaker cover may or may not fit completely and your speaker will only be held in with less than 1/4" of a screw.


Basically go with drilling new holes to fit the speaker would be the best available option..... anything else honestly isn't worth the time.

You can go to crutchfield.com and see a few speakers that will work without modifications.
I bought the Sony's, fit fine, sounds great!
