Chance to buy a 98 SH with bad knock sensor

The price is right and it has tan interior.

He says it won't pass emissions because of a bad knock sensor. He needs to get rid of the car. The body looks great, but the interior is a little dirty and the stock radio has been removed.

I wasn't really looking for an SH, but it looks like I could get a pretty good deal on this one. The mileage is 137,000.

What kind of issues can I expect on a 98 SH?

The knock sensor is going to be a beotch to get to and it costs like $200 for a new knock sensor. I would do a compression test and see how that turns out and make sure the are no other CEL's other than the knock sensor. Make sure he has proof that he has changed the timing belt or that is another $700 or so if you have a mechanic do it.
