please help, leaking from the front left tire well

hey guys, i noticed a leak today from the front left tire area. i lifted the car and found out it was some oil , yellowish, but i couldnt tell which oil. the tire well was soaked in the part that faces u wen u look into it and the bottom of the spring was wet. it wasnt engine oil. any idea on what it could be leaking? strut? brake fluid? power (but thats red)?

Hmmm. Well it could be your engine oil since that does have a yellowish tint. Maybe it's your shocks? Not sure what else is yellow...

power steering...its not red. it's most likely dripping down on the belts and getting thrown back. do you have any oil on the underside of the hood above the ps pump?

i dont see anything in the engine bay, all the fluid is contained in the tire well

cracking while turning has to be a boot broken and dirt got in... my 2 cents

Re: please help, leaking from the front left tire well

Jus my guess but it could be your brake line is shot and it's leaking from where it's connected to the brake caliper since you say it dont smell like oil n it has that brownish/yellow color!!! I have that color as of now in my brake reservior tank due to it being dirty. Gonna get that syphoned out and replace it with new clear ones!!!
