5th Gen Cruse Control - Cancel

Has anyone noticed that if you press the accelerate and set button (at the same time) it will act as a cancel button? After years of owning my 5th gen I just recently learned this on a trip to San Diego.

It should work until you press the brake or hit those 2 buttons at the same time...

Re: 5th Gen Cruse Control - Cancel

Hahah I noticed that when playing around with it before. Found it weird there was no cancel button since my Acura has a cancel button in the center.

Quick question: Why do people do cruise control delete? Whats the benefits of doing it?

LOL. I don't understand how people don't use it. That's like a must for me.

Do it.
I did. Driven coast to coast twice down I-10 without it. It's not bad.

Re: 5th Gen Cruse Control - Cancel

I checked out this thread because I thought it was a CC delete and some pics of a clean engine bay... Needless to say I am disappointed, if you want to stop cruise control then step on the brake lightly lol

Re: 5th Gen Cruse Control - Cancel

I titled it "cancel" so there wouldn't be any confusion..maybe we don't want to step on the peddle (people can see when touch the brake) ^_*
