Icon7 H23a vtec motor just came in.

I bought my bluetop H23a vtec from tiger japanese and I got to say they have some great looking motors. I got my motor for $650 shipping $216 from canada to georgia in approx 5 days total. I will put some pics up as soon as I can figure out how to upload the pics from my camera to the laptop lol.. Can't wait to get started on the swap....

Re: H23a vtec motor just came in.

Yes it does have a crank warranty LOL... I am replacing the SH H22a4 motor for this one.. It sounds pretty cheap but everything looks great on it no oil leaks or cracks what so ever. I think every company has to start somewhere to get business so the prices are not bad at all... Im dropping it in next weekend to get it running just waiting on a few parts to get it right for the swap...

The H23a vtec can bolt up to any 90-01 F22 accord and 97-01 transmission except the SH tranny...

It'll also bolt up to an 92-96 H23 and H22 transmission. Since you've got an SH, you'll need a new transmission, unless you really want to fab up a way to bolt the ATTS on

Re: H23a vtec motor just came in.

H23a + CAI, Tri-Y header, 2.5" exhaust(high flow cat), stock muffler. Tuned on Crome = 200whp/165wtq.

Best of all the power is made lower than on a H22 so you feel somewhat torque lol.

Imagine a Euro-R mani/TB, 3" catless exhaust, and MAYBE some stage 1 cams? Aww man

So you're going to swap the Accord tranny into your Lude? How is the Accord motor going to blot up to your SH tranny?

My mechanic looked at the inside of motor said it looked great and was prob around 35k miles on it. compression was 210 across all 4 cylinders. Its being was getting installed this past weekend and should be done today. cant wait to pick her up. so far i havent had any problems with them and the motor I got also looked great

Re: H23a vtec motor just came in.

What Auto Tranny will the H23a bolt up to? I'm fixing to do this swap as well, but I'm keeping it auto since I'm in the city. All I need to find out is what tranny I can use, and what ecu, I think I saw that the p13 is for this engine. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
