Make sure you're getting fuel at the rail. After that, check your spark. If you're not getting spark it could be any number of things. I recently had this problem over the winter and am almost 100% positive it's a bad CKP/TDC sensor.

I'm actually having the same exact problem and it actually seems to be getting a worst. It'll start fine in the warm, but if its been sitting in the cold for a while it'll just crank and crank and crank then eventually catch.

Re: help my car wont start in the cold??

You need to check for fuel at the rail. There is a big bolt with a fuel line running to it (in between the valve cover and the top of the intake manifold). It's either a 14mm or 17mm, can't remember. You need to loosen it and make sure fuel is getting to the rail.

If you have fuel at the rail, you need to check your spark. You can do this with a test light if you have one, if not, you can just remove one of your spark plugs (make sure to reattach the spark plug wire to it once you remove it). Have someone hold the tip of it close to a clean metal surface in your engine bay. Get in the car and try to start it. If you're getting spark, you should be able to see it arc from the tip of the plug to the metal.

If you're getting fuel and your motor has good compression and you're not getting spark, it's probably a problem in your ignition coil, spark plugs, or plug wires. All of mine already checked out, that's why I've come to the conclusion that it is a faulty CKP/TDC (crankshaft position/top dead center) sensor. When they get old, they tend to act up in the cold. It happens on a lot of them on a lot of makes and models of cars.
