Tri - State people... Need some advice here on a good shop!

My 5th gen has got almost 140,000 miles on it.

No major problems but my car FEELS beat up. I know it can run better/stronger.

Anybody know any decent and honest shops in NY/CT...preferably CT where I can drop my car off and they can give it a thoro look/diagnostic and tell me what I need to do to get it running as close to new as possible?

Thanks!

Re: Tri - State people... Need some advice here on a good shop!

You could just change oil, transmission fluid, plugs, wires, belts, air filter, do a compression test yourself and see how the engine its self is holding up. Change timing belt if you haven't already.

All that is done. Don't know how to do a compression test. Will look into that!

The tri-state area is NY/PA/NJ....

CT isn't allowed.
