About to make a lip kit move

I really want to look god when spring comes around. The problem is that I can only find the OEM lip lits on ebay. I have a couple of questions:

*Are the ebay kits really that bad?
*Does anyone have a picture of an SH with ONLY the OEM front lip?
*In this thread, post 13, which kit is on the grey Lude?

Re: About to make a lip kit move

Well here's my OEM front lip. Ignore the cracked bumper and my car being dirty:P Need to replace that in the spring

The eBay kits are made of plastic which crack easily if you hit or use it in the winter. The OEM's are made of poly urathane.

Thanks. I should have been clear.
I'm looking for an SH picture with ONLY the front lip, but I'm looking for a side shot to see if the front lip blends in well with the SH sides and rear.

Re: About to make a lip kit move

I've seen good reviews of the ebay OEM style lip kits if you can't source the real thing

I know they're pretty hard to come by nowadays

I'm not so sure about that one. In side by side pics, I like the OEM lip more but looks like eventually I'll have to buy the rear so it won't look so high in the back.

I think some ebay oem lips are made of urethane also, you just gotta find it.

p.s. And i just recently got into a small accident with identical damage as yours but instead, i hit a truck hitch at about 5-10mph maybe even less. lost my passenger turn signal, my whole front passenger side bumper was cracked and my headlight was cracked. End up costing me 700 for repairs. Goodluck!

Actually I picked up the car for cheap because of this incident. The previous owner said he was at a parking lot and a truck backed into him. I can kind of see the plate number imprint on the bumper. My headlights are somewhat cracked since it's a bit fogged and there's condensation but the other side is fine. The signal light broke off as well. I replaced it already.

My buddy's body shop (which I him know very well) said he'd do it all for me. Bumper replace, repaint the bumper, replace the one headlight and the lip as well as redo (cut and paint) both my rear quarter panels for $1100. I haven't bothered doing it yet since it's still the winter so I'll probably wait it off until the spring or summer to do it all.
