Prelude 5 Speed swap

Hi im pretty en to the forum but started having problems with a used prelude i brought. the tranny is starting to get pretty sluggish so im already contemplating doing the 5 speed swap. i live in the Miami, Fl area and was just wondering if anybody hears of any sort of part out for a decent tranny i would appreciate the heads up. been searching online and craigslist for a couple days now but who knows may just drive the car till the tranny goes all out. thanks in advance.

Re: Prelude 5 Speed swap

Are you looking for parts for a manual transmission?

I'm confused about your post.

Re: Prelude 5 Speed swap

I have an H22 transmission out of a 96 Prelude VTEC for sale if you're interested. No grinds, the fluid was always changed regularly, I could have it shipped to you through FedEx freight or something and it probably wouldn't be TOO expensive. Let me know if you're interested.

would the tranny work well with the 2001 prelude? would finding a 5th gen tranny make the job any easier than working with a 4th gen.? btw how much mileage did you put on the transmission.
