Long time a waiting

Here is a sad tale.

After over a year of sitting I now have my Lude back in the driveway and running.

Close to a year of sitting and being over run with field mice.
another three months at a machine shop to have the motor completely re manufactured from stem to stern. All new parts.

Another three months waiting for the auto shop to get around to putting all the pieces parts back together and drop it back under the hood.

Picked up my 2000 type SH last night. Sounds and feels good.

It was pricey but this as a brand new motor and should last awhile.

The history is that I bought it with a 127K miles on it and was commuting in it. On night it just shut of on me. I thought it was the evil timing belt. After the engine was pulled we discovered that the pin that holds the timing gear in place sheared. Unbeknownst to me at the time I had also lost my head gasket and filled a few pistons with water. So it sat for a year as I rounded up the funds to do the job. That is when it really got expensive.

Price to remanufacture ended up being about the same price as an imported used motor that nobody had or could get inside of a month (added bonus cost due to it being type SH).

Anyways here is the question. How do I take the back seat bottom cushion out of the car. Due to the rodent infestation it needs to be cleaned underneath it. I can't hardly stand to be in the car due to the smell.
