Re: White smoke outta my car....

Hmm.....check your oil. Is it clear brown color or is it kinda milky? That as well as burning a white smoke can be an indication of a blown head gasket. Are you losing coolant?

This may sound really dumb....are you sure its not frozen condensation?

Re: White smoke outta my car....

Difficult to tell, because you kept waving the camera around. Given the temperature, looked alot like normal water vapor condensing outside the exhaust, because it faded pretty fast -- the clouds of burning coolant I've seen coming from a blown head gasket tend to be more persistant. Can't explain white residue on the bumper, though, unless it's just road salt that has nothing to do with the exhaust. Do check the oil, though, and the coolant -- if either one looks muddy brown, you have a problem. If not, just keep an eye on it.

Re: White smoke outta my car....

Just kinda looks like the normal water vapor you would expect in a humid area.

just looks like normal water vapor. but check your oil. if it has a milky color then you probably blew your head gasket

Re: White smoke outta my car....

-22 C, ah thats like very very cold. You sure you don't mean -22 F?

I would have to agree with the frozen water vapor. cause at -22 C stuff freezes in seconds at that temp.

I would also agree with checking your dipstick and see if there is any greyish or milky looking oil on there (sign that the head gasket is blown)

They're both too damn cold, but -22 C is about -8 F. 0 C = 32 F (freezing point for water)
