HID in V2 foglight

I just got my V2 fog lights and I'm looking to buy 3000k HID instead of halogens. Does anyone have 55w in them and will they melt or is it safer to use 35w. Thanks.

Re: HID in V2 foglight

My boy got V2 and he has the same setup as I do but that I have the JDm fogs!!!

UR good to go!!!

I have 8000K 35W in my heads and 3000K 55W in my fogs!!!

If youre into that golden yellow look for your fogs like I am then you'll love the outcome of runnin 55W 3000K HID in your fogs!!!!

Helps me and is useful in the winter when I hit up PA for snowboarding bc the yellow stands out a lot on the snow!!!

Re: HID in V2 foglight

I'm going to need to pick up 3000k 55w then. Where did you get your HID kit? Can you recommend me any sites or something since I'll need to order it.

Re: HID in V2 foglight

Is it true that if you have 55w, it'll burn your wires or something?
