VIS hood doesn't latch

My VIS hood doesn't latch shut, it has hood pins, but I don't want somebody to go under my hood one night and steal some goodies...what can I do to prevent this?

i had to move the latch up when my hood started doing that. just loosen the 2 bolts and keep rainsing it up until it catches and latches down.

Re: VIS hood doesn't latch

We had to adjust the latch on my buddy's S14 when he got his CF hood. Also, locking hood pins FTMFW x2

Re: VIS hood doesn't latch

I looked at it better last night, and it latches shut, it just doesn't lock down. So I don't need to pop my hood, I can just undo the pins and press the lever and it comes up. Sorry for the confusion, it was kind've late.

Re: VIS hood doesn't latch

I didn't see much room for adjustment. However, I noticed it was caked with all sorts of grimey dirt. Some brake parts cleaner and a little thin lube later my hood is latched. Because of the tight fit with the hood pins it just needs a little extra force to lock.
