Icon10 Prelude Project

Hi guys im new to the preludes. I have a 97' and running great with a type-s intake, megan headers, megan hiflow cat, custom cat back.

You guys are more experienced than me, but i wana turbo this h22, no matter the cost. I personally would not only like to build this motor for forced induction but stroker it also from brian crower. i want to push 500hp to 600hp on this lude. so guys your ideas are very much appreciated. im used to nissans and alredy turbo motors but for hondas, im a novice, but that doesnt mean i dont know my products and resources.

By the way im looking on using the Greddy platform and i think the TD-07s turbo would do but if im overdoing, lol, let me know.

Re: Prelude Project

You need to start with building your bottom end. Re-sleeved with lower compression pistons and new rods. Then you need to build your head with new valves, springs and retainers to be able to put up with the power that you're going to put to it. Start with that first. Pick out the Pistons and rods you want along with the head parts. That ought to be enough to hold you over for awhile. If you build the bottom end then you are really serious, but I hear tons of guys talking about going turbo but few ever do because it ain't nothing nice on the wallet.
