Best springs for Koni Yellow Shocks

Hi, my shocks are bad and I'm planning on replacing them. I have a 98 Prelude SH and after looking around, I've decided on getting the Koni yellow shocks. I was wondering if anyone could help me decide on what springs go best with the Koni shocks. I mostly just use the car to drive around and so comfort is high on my list. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I read someone saying that stock springs don't fit with after market shocks and so I wasn't sure.

Ground Controls, they are pretty inexpensive and will give you up to a 3.5" drop. Way better IMO..

depends on where you live, how the roads are. if they are crapp roads like where i live you may want to look in stiffer lowering springs. i have koni yellows, i use to use eibach sportline which are nice when the roads are in decent condition but my roads suck so i now have neuspeed which are alot stiffer are they work great for me.

Re: Best springs for Koni Yellow Shocks

The roads here are pretty good. What I really want out of my shocks and springs is being able to drive my car over dips in the road and speed bumps without having to worry about my car smashing down onto the street. When I first bought my Prelude, it had adjustable Tokico blue shocks and skunk2 springs and I hated it. Every time I would go pass a small dip in the street, the bottom of my car would hit the street. My bro gave me some used oem shocks and springs but they didn't last very long.

Eibach or Tein is a more modest drop. Eibach pro kit: 1.3" around. Tein: 1.5'' around
