Should I Lower??

Hey guys,
I have been thinking a lot lately about lowering my car or just adding a lip kit. If I lower it, I will go with the Megan 1.75" drop all around, or the Tien S-tech springs with 1.5" front/ 1.3" rear. your opinions will be greatly appreciated.

1.75" isnt that much of a difference. its really up to you. dont lower your car just cause everyone says to lower it. lower it if you want to

Re: Should I Lower??

yes lower it. but dont cheap out. if your just gonna get some springs and your only looking to drop it about 1.5 inches than you can stick with your stock struts. but if you plan on going lower (which im sure you will, low is an addiction haha) then definitely save up and get some quality coilovers.

Re: Should I Lower??

Yeah you could def go lower. Are those wheels 17's?

The front is bad but the back looks kinda high. If you wanna get rid of the wheel gap look at a tire calculator and see if you could get a different size tire...but the back probably needs to be lowered either way..

Look into adjustable coilovers

Where's Drew or E at when you need them?

Re: Should I Lower??

Depends on where you live. If the roads suck, or there are a lot of gravel roads you have to travel on, or just a lot of places where you know it would scrape, I wouldn't. Otherwise, DO IT!!!

Re: Should I Lower??

of corse u should lower it........i got Skunk 2 springs, and KYB AGX struts and my car is roughly 2 inches lower...i have yet to scape anywhere,( thats in Connecticut where we have terrible roads and i live in apartments with speedbumps), car handles amazing , rides pretty decent better than most lowered Hondas ive been in...
i think 1BADBB6 has the same setup if u want to see how it looks on a 5th gen

to me i wouldnt get coilovers unless u want to lower more than 2 inches (sounds like u wouldnt be with bad roads)...i like spring and strut setups better ...

Re: Should I Lower??

you can do it on stock struts but i wouldnt think it will ride that well, you will usually get a boucey effect when u have a stiffer spring but without a stiffer strut ...also the stock ones will not last as long as a good set of aftermarket struts, esp once u lower it
